1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using CinevoPK (the “Platform”), including browsing profiles, creating an account, posting or applying to casting calls, listing or inquiring about locations, or contacting support, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
CinevoPK is a technology marketplace. We facilitate discovery and communication between talent and hirers; we are not a talent agency, employer, casting director, or party to production contracts unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. User accounts & eligibility
2.1 Who may use CinevoPK
- You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law in Pakistan.
- If you register on behalf of a production house or company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
- Admin and staff accounts are for CinevoPK personnel only and are governed by internal access policies in addition to these Terms.
2.2 Talent accounts
- Provide accurate profile details (name, city, category, bio, attributes, and credits).
- Portfolio photos and showreels must feature you (or content you have rights to publish) and must not be misleading.
- Verification (phone, CNIC, or similar) may be requested to improve trust; submitting false verification information is prohibited.
2.3 Hirer / production house accounts
- Company profiles and casting posts must accurately describe the production, role, location, and compensation range where stated.
- Do not impersonate another studio, brand, or production company.
- You are responsible for how your team uses shortlists, applications, and invite tools under your account.
2.4 Account security
Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly via Support or Contact if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or create security risk.
3. Casting calls & location booking
3.1 Posting castings
- Hirers must post lawful, good-faith opportunities and keep deadlines and status up to date.
- Jobs may be moderated (including pending approval) under platform settings and community standards.
- Do not post discriminatory, exploitative, fraudulent, or illegal casting requests.
3.2 Applying & communicating
- Talent should apply only when genuinely available and qualified for the role as described.
- Cover messages, invites, and chats must remain professional and respectful.
- Casting decisions remain between talent and hirers; CinevoPK does not guarantee bookings, callbacks, or payment terms agreed offline.
3.3 Location scouting & inquiries
- Location listings and inquiry forms are tools to start a conversation; final booking, access, insurance, and fees are arranged between the parties involved.
- Provide accurate contact details in inquiries and respect property rules and local regulations.
3.4 Code of conduct
Harassment, spam, scams, doxxing, IP theft, or misuse of personal data obtained through CinevoPK is forbidden. We may remove content, limit features, or ban accounts to protect the community.
4. Subscriptions & payments
CinevoPK offers free and paid plans for talent and hirers (for example Talent Free / Premium and Hirer Standard / Featured). Current features and limits are described on our Plans page and may be configured by administrators.
- Default free plans — new talent and hirer accounts are assigned the applicable free plan on registration unless otherwise stated.
- Plan limits — free tiers may limit active job posts, portfolio items, or monthly applications; exceeding a limit may require an upgrade.
- Paid upgrades — self-serve checkout may not always be available. Paid or featured activations may be completed manually after you request an upgrade via Support or Contact; status may show as “Pending Upgrade” until confirmed by CinevoPK staff.
- Changes — we may change plan features or limits with notice on the Plans page or in-product messaging. Fees already paid for a confirmed period are handled as communicated at the time of activation.
Unless required by law, CinevoPK is not responsible for third-party payment processor outages or bank delays once a payment method is introduced.
5. Intellectual property & content
5.1 Your content
You retain ownership of photos, showreels, logos, job descriptions, and other materials you upload (“User Content”). By uploading, you grant CinevoPK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Platform as needed to operate casting, search, messaging, and related features.
You represent that you have all rights needed to upload User Content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law. You may remove portfolio items from your account; residual copies may persist briefly in backups or caches.
5.2 CinevoPK content
The CinevoPK name, branding, software, layout, and original platform text are owned by CinevoPK or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the Platform except as allowed by law or with our prior written consent.
6. Limitation of liability & contact
6.1 Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CinevoPK disclaims warranties of uninterrupted service, perfect matching of talent and jobs, accuracy of user-submitted portfolios or castings, or outcomes of any production engagement arranged through the Platform.
You are solely responsible for verifying credentials, negotiating contracts, payments, working conditions, and compliance with labour and production laws. CinevoPK is not liable for disputes between talent and hirers, cancelled shoots, unpaid fees agreed offline, or misuse of information by other users, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
6.2 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CinevoPK’s total liability arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to CinevoPK for the service in the three months before the claim, or (b) PKR 5,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost opportunities or profits.

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory local rule requires otherwise. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
